SHIPPING HANDLING

Thank you for purchasing one of my stone and bronze sculptures.

Most of the stones used are so hard that they must be drilled with diamond core bits to create holes into which the bronze is attached using studs and epoxy. While firmly attached, the bronze pieces can be broken off the stone. Because of the weight of these pieces special care is needed when handling them.

1.When carrying or packing the pieces it is important not to put any pressure on the bronze attachments. When holding the piece and leaning it against your body do not put pressure on the spears, hands, or shields. If you must lean the piece against your body lean the back of the piece against yourself.

2.When lifting and setting down the pieces it is important to do so in a vertical motion. If you tip the piece on the base or set the piece down so the base lands on one side of the base instead of hitting flat you could pop the base off the sculpture.

3.Even though some of the stones are very hard they can be scratched. If this happens, you can use floor or furniture wax on the scratch to diminish the blemish.

Enjoy your new piece of art.
